BLURB:

She was one horrible mess.  Always looking over her shoulder, avoiding becoming too friendly with the neighbors, never letting her kids out of her sight for fear of human monsters lurking around corners, waiting to cause them harm.  That anxiety stemmed from her own childhood memories.  Always fearing that someone would recognize her face, she kept to herself and didn’t go out much.  And when she did, no matter the season, she wore some kind of hat or covering on her head, always to shield her face.

Walter never understood why she was such a loner;  avoiding people as much as she could and just being extremely anti-social outside of the house.  Houston was originally her home, not his, yet she didn’t even want her own family and friends to know that she had returned.  The only person she found herself being able to really open up to, was Walter.  And although she tried to make him feel otherwise, he knew that there was still a huge wall that even he would never be able to see over, or climb.

Marisa had a secret and if it was ever revealed, it could cost her her life and her freedom.

VIDEO BOOK REVIEW by Danica Cornell

“I am still trying to register all that I’ve read in Daydream’s Daughter, Nightmare’s Friend! This book kept me at the edge of my seat as I read page after page. Author,  Nonnie Jules grabbed my very soul with each character creatively borne “true to life.”  The main character, Maiya James will have you wanting to save “every” child suffering at the hands of their abusers. This is truly a must read, BUT do not forget the box of tissues!! I would not be surprised if this book was chosen to be on the Big screen!! Calling all screenwriters, directors, and producers~~if you can choose the right actors to portray the characters in DDNF, it will be a sure contender for an Oscar!!!  Nonnie Jules, your writing skills are attention-grabbing, strong, and spellbinding. Very well written!!” ~ DLJordan4

“Heart-breakingly heavy and disturbing, very good job writing it, though.  I imagine it had to be tough.” ~ Susan Reid, Author of The Divinity Saga

“I couldn’t put this book down!  Every chapter kept me on the edge of my seat.  I want more.  Hope there’s a sequel!  Lifetime Television…watch out for DAYDREAM’S DAUGHTER.  You’re going to want to turn this script into a movie!” ~ P.J.  Soemer, Book Lover
